Control guitar volume
Push L2 or R2 to adjust the guitar volume while using it.

Jam mode:
Choose the concert mode, and select any of the following

I'm Free 
Prison 
Zino's Track

After that, set the lead guitar difficulty level to 7.
You should see the "You Jam!" message in the rhythm section.
Now you can play music freely.
