Power attack:
While choosing an attack, hold the X button.
Keep X held until you attack to do more damage.

TIC-TAC:
Finish the game once. Then, in Mission 10 or 11 you will have 
conversation with the princess.

Select "I intend to end the war" answer to go to mission 12.

Select "I will conquer the continent" answer to go to mission 
45 "Ruin Branch" and get TIC-TAC.
