Winning Pony Club races:
While you are on the Pony Club race, shout into the microphone.
Note: Do not shout too loud, try to keep the meter bellow the red zone. 
This will slow down your pony.

Picture set prize:
Finish a picture set of 4 animals in your journal, to receive a prize of 
an accessory or coins, likewise for coins and shells.
